I'm trying to find out if other departments, municipal and federal are having some of the same problems and issues as ours. Moral is very poor here as it is in other North East Departments.
First off, our Chief seems to be totally againt us. He does anything he can to hurt us and impress his bosses. Hours cut, demotions, continuous budget cuts, Vacations denied, Limited staffing, some dangerous trucks, and the excuse that there is never any money.
The list goes on but I don't want to go into too much detail. I'd really like to hear from other Firefighters if there going through similar problems. What there trying to do to solve such issues. what Unions have to say.
