Thanks guys for the info, but apperntly my superiors are not willing to spent any money on our training.
They rather sent two commanders to Hawai for a course in dry-docking aircraftcarriers, dispite the fact that we don't have any.
    I guess it's there loss.
    Thanks anyway.

    Texas Task Force-1 Website

The link by BVFD is for the school itself. Here is one for the task force.

The school is great I know they have taught many personel from around the world. Mostly from latin countries and Asia but I am sure there is some Ero mixed in as well.

    Good Luck

Engine23ccvfd, could you explain what TXTF-1 stands for ?

I visited there website, and there are a lot of interesting courses.
I just have to find a way to explain to our commander, that they can teach us stuff we cant learn here in Europe. (and that's the hard part)

    Hey Zippo,

The TEEX complex in College Station is the largest FF training center in the world. Many companies send there onboard FF's to the school to learn ship firefighting. They are also well knwn for there shore based training. I have been several times for various classes in in general have found the instruction to be top notch.

They are home for TXTF-1 and use many of the team members as instructors for varioous classes.

    TEEX (Texas Engineering Extension Service)

My question is, if anyone has experience with courses at TEEX.
I'm trying to convince my superiors (ain't that a hard job)to take a course for Marine Landbased Firefighting.
Any other suggestion would be great.
