An article appearing on Firehouse.com presently is a report of a fire in Florida. (One story motel) The following is the description used for conditions encountered upon arrival.
"When first due arrived and attempted entry into the structure they encountered a collier’s mansion condition which made an interior attack very difficult."
This is the first time I have ever seen such a description, and I am not clear on what type of condition this is. Could someone familiar with this please explain it and perhaps a brief history of it's origin?
Thanks
