Leather all the way. No I'm not sure I think they can buy whatever brand they want with a uniform allowance. They are issued Pro Warringtons, not sure what model... I believe Pro-4000.Comment

Boots
In 1996 FDNY performed an 18 month study on leather boots. They had several of their busiest companies test all different brands of leather firefighting boots on the market. After the 18 month test, Warrington Pro came out ahead of all the rest. Due to this, FDNY issues all of their men Warrington Pro Leather Boots. I am not sure which model they are issuing now days but they were issuing 4000 last year.

pro 5000
I recently purchased warrington pro 5000 and will never own anything else. They are the most comfortable flexable andthey have that indestructable toe covering. just my two cents worth thanks for reading.Comment
