On a one to ten scale........5 maybe.

Give it to your kids, they'll do it in ten seconds flat!

          Very easy

If you are replacing the whole assembly with the skull cap its very simple. You must first unscrew the pieces that hold the helmet shield, than you can pull the whole assembly out. Clean the inside cap and place the new velcro two sided tape back in place (make sure you line up the notches) and put the skull cap back in place, replace the screws on the shield and your done. I have done this many times, it takes about 10 minutes.

Hey Josh, how did a white helmet get dirty enough to need cleaning in the first place? Did you drop it while standing at the command post?

                        Josh:
Sounds like you should have turned the old helmet in on insurance and bought a new one. Old helmets make great lampshades and bird feeders.
Next time, just buy a whole new helmet. And while you're at it, get some golf clubs. Chiefs like to play golf. Lots of golf.
