  • The New "BROTHERHOOD" Book...

I just recieved my copy of "BROTHERHOOD".

Has anybody else ordered one and what do you think of it?

I love it. I think it really allows everybody to feel like they are there (In NEW YORK). Seeing all the pictures of the stations and memorials really brought tears to my eyes.

I will deffinatley cherish this book forever.

If you have not ordered a copy I suggest you do so soon. Never know when they will run out and than you will have to wait for the back order.

Be Safe Everybody and God Bless.

I pre-ordered mine through Amazon and It took about a month to get it. It was well worth the wait. My favorite part of the book is the last section with the children's letter to FDNY. They can bring tears to anyones eyes. Overall a great job.

I got mine also......a good book. I say good, because in the rush to get it in print, they missed most of the (outside Firehouse) Memorials. Why was this important.....well for one thing, most of the Memorials said, "Thankyou Everyone!" It's meaning was for ALL those who extended support....physically, mentally, financially, to the "Brother & Sisterhood of FDNY". To me on a forum such as this.....it was most important to extend thanks to the assistance we received especially for those who think we do not consider them as equals in our trade. God Bless you all............FDNYRR

I recieved my copy a couple of weeks ago. And i highly recommend it to anyone. I also ordered another book called September 11th: A Tribute. It also has some great pictures about the attacks and how the nation reacted. I mainly bought it for when i have kids, i can show them what happenes. Its also a great companion to "Brotherhood" because it shows why there's the memorials and out pouring of simpathy.

I have not read the book yet, but I have heard from MANY friends and coworkers that this book is amazing. One of my fellow ffs bought me the "In The Line Of Duty" book, and I loved it...I ordered the "Brotherhood" book over the weekend and expect it in a few days. These books are a great way to educate our future ffs and future generations about 9-11-01. It is important to always remember this day, and to educate others about it as well. I believe this book will help me to do that. Take care out there.
Never forget those who went before and sacrified to make us better and stronger as a fire service and a nation. 09-11-01 forever etched in time and our memories. God Speed Boys!

I've been thinking about ordering the Brotherhood book, and after reading the opinions here, I think I'll go ahead and get it. Seems like its a good one
