There are a lot of good women out there that need and deserve good Wood!! You need to figure out what the real deal is. If she had a good reason to miss the date, so be it. But if she is just messin' with you, You need to take action! Can't have the prez bein' made a fool of!!!

Maybe you shouldn't take your dates to the same place where you hit on the counter help? Just a thought.

I'm sure the Great Woody has his reasons for giving her another chance. It sounds like she was at least honest enough to tell him why she wasn't there, even if it wasn't a good reason. She must also still be interested if she accepted another date with him.

I can relate - I keep giving my boyfriend "another chance" because I feel bad for him with all of his family problems. He has to deal with more than I think I could ever take - meanwhile I keep getting ignored while he stresses out. Maybe I'm a fool too, but until things are better for him, I don't want to add to his stress. (Some things are worth waiting for.) But Wood.... if she's a no-show again, I hope someone knocks HER teeth out Nobody messes with our Wood!

My guy doesn't "find 'em hot", he only puts out fires that he started himself... and he's quite the little arsonist My male friends at the corner pub like to tease me about dating a fireman. They're always joking about laying hose and asking if there was a fire last night. I just tell them it was "a five alarm that took all night to get under control" and they shut right up. Gotta fight fire with fire (pun intended)

New thread huh. Sorry If i'm not so in the joking mood. Just my g/f took a lot of wind out of my sails.If I told you guys what she did you guys for SURE would want to beat her butt.(I'll just tell you if we we're married and i filed for divorce after this she'd look REALLY BAD)(okay what the heck even though she told me not to tell but i will) What she did told me she slept with another dude this weekend.(its a old guy friend)(I know I should open a firefighter can of whoop @ss)(she doesn't want me to whip his @ss cause she's friends with him). She feels really bad about it and wishes she never did it. I haven't decided yet if i'm gonna keep her or not for sure.I'm really disappointed in her.
plus i don't know how many other chicks will go out with me since I'm a big cartman in a bunker gear. last night was kinda of hard on me when i found that out. well hope y'all had a good day.

The powers to be have said I can be an acting (I didn't even know I did stage work) Driver Operator. All I have to do is prove I can get water to the guy on the end of the hose to put the wet stuff on the red stuff, then go a riten ixam...exem... axam... Test. One question I have been warned about... Whats friction loss have to do with our hose?
Am looking forward to driving the big red truck. Unfurtunatly it only seats 4, not 20 and no helipad. But hey... I work on an Airstation anyway!?!?!

I agree woodman! Sorry to hear about your misfortune. But, you are only disrespecting yourself by looking the other way on this. If you dont respect yourself enough to cut her loose, then she isnt going to respect you either. Which is the first step toward this becoming a common occurance. Cut your losses and find someone else.

Did she not show up for the date because she was with him at the time, or was it because she was feeling bad afterward? If she was with him when she said she would meet you, she has no regard for your feelings. If she made this "mistake" and then was afraid to face you later, maybe she does care. People do make mistakes, and it doesn't sound like you two have made any commitments to each other yet. How many times have you actually dated her? Once you agree to be exclusive, there are no excuses for "mistakes".

Don't sell yourself short and go out with her just because you feel like Cartman in turnouts. Get your picture out here Woody and let the female membership have a look at you. But also remember that personality, sense of humor, compassion, and romance go a long way with the ladies - and we already know you've got the sense of humor

I'm sorry, but as a woman I say throw her to the curb, no more chances, move on, move out. As for opening a can of Whoop *** on the other guy........what for? If anyone deserves it it's her (figuratively speaking of course). SHE made the choice to sleep with him, he didn't force her so you have no issue with him.
