I have a solution to the problem of the statue being erected by the FDNY. I am a NYC firefighter and have created a web site that is a memorial to the bravest who lost their lives. I also hope to rasie money to erect a statue that is truly representative of true history of the tragedy, not political correctness.

$50 is pretty high for a webpage, there are already dozens of websites with tributes that are free. This in no way solves the problem of the statue, and this has nothing to do with building a statue. The biggest problem you are going to have is the unauthorized use of the famous photo, copyright protection is held by the fotog. I salute your efforts on behalf of fallen brothers at FDNY, but I don't think you have it all figured out yet. God Bless.
