Quint-Midi
Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone can give me their opinions of the Quint-Midi firefighting attack. Here in Buffalo the mayor want to convert our department to Quint-Midi. We currently use a fast attack. We also have minumum manning in our contract and believe this to be a way for the city to cut jobs only. Let me know what you think.

Quebec City (in Canada), uses the quint-midi system. They have the minimal staffing ( 3 on quint and 2 on midi or mini). The problem is that your mini or midi arrives before your quint most of the time so those FFs can't go in to rescue people. Also because of the staffing you have many more vehicules going out for small fires.
