  • What tools are in your pockets of your fire gear

Okay here the question what do you carry in your bunker pants, around your neck, on my helmet i got a helmet light
in your jeans(or regular pants) fire coat and whatever else.
Okay around my neck I almost always have a Streamlight Litebox, my one coat pocket i put a spanner, the other one i leave it open cause if i'm done with a fire or finishing up i put my gloves in there. now i usually have my Leatherman with me at all times on my belt loop on my pants. Then in my right pants pocket i got about 1/4 inch 20 ft long rope.
in my left pants pocket i keep a spare nomax hood just incase i get a rip in mine or somebody forgets theres. I'd rather have to many at a fire than too few .

Ok, this post has been on here several times, but, I jsut can't help it, it's like a magnet.
In my bunker pants I carry 30 ft of nylon webbing, 60 carabeiners, a rambo type knife, a deluge gun with stack tips, and 3 50 ft sections of 2.5" "bright orange" hose in my coat I have tucked away 1 pic head axe, a halligan, 4 matchbox cars, 2 spanners w/ hydrant wrench, 1 1 3/4" TFT nozzle, a gated wye, and a porta power. Tucked INSIDE my helmet I carry 4 nomex hoods, 2 sets of leather gloves and 12 firefighting gloves. Then I have a MX7000 lightbar mounted to the top of my lid (for safety) and carry around my neck a streamlight boxlight, and a Federal Q "Grinder" Then I have my truckie belt with a base station mounted on it for communications. Well I think that's about it.....

Now on a serious note, I really do carry the following
In my pants I have a nomex hood, 1 pr leather gloves and 1 pr firefighting gloves.
In my coat, my PASS alarm and a pack of smokes.

Sorry to disappoint you all, but being a smaller guy I can't afford to lug around weight from tools I'll probably never use, and frankly if I ever did need them, I'll probably forget that I had them.........
