Thanks for stopping in but more importantly, thanks for helping us send off a true American Firefighter.

I'm glad I can put a face to two names on the board now, in the future, I'm sure we'll all be getting a chance to meet.

You guys put in some serious miles yesterday as did thousands of others. The Downey family was, no doubt, touched by the outpouring of brothers and sisters.

I made the trip to Deer Park yesterday. I was glad I did. Did not get a chance to stop by your station, we went to the WTC site instead. The entire day was an experience I will never forget. Your encouragement to attend was a big help! Take care, we are behind you guys 100%!

Artie my Brother...while I couldn't be there in person, I was there in spirit. As I went up through the ranks, I would use the knowledge that Ray Downey shared with us through his writings to keep my personnel safe. Ray Downey was a jakes' Jake, and he will never be forgotten!

I certainly do hope to be able to get together with everyone. Hopefully when the time is right they will have that big memorial service, and we all will be able to attend.
