Smallpox Vacciene

How does everyone feel about emergency services workers getting priority when the smallpox vacciene becomes available in this country? If smallpox were to be released, we would be right in the middle of it. The military has been immunized against various diseases that we didn't have to worry about for years. Whether we like it or not we are the new Homeland Defense. Thanks in advance for your responses!

While in general I'd expect emergency services to be among the first vaccinated if the need arises, it has to be part of a area-wide vaccination program and not just "let's vaccinate the cops & firemen" plan.

Wouldn't it just suck that you got the vaccine 'cause you where a firefighter just to go home and find your family sick because they weren't in the group to get it?
