Whoever did this is lower than low and deserves to be punished. I hope the dog recovers; it sounds as if you fellows really care about him. Blessings upon you...and "Sparky."
It made me sick too, Bull. It all boils down to a lack of respect for what we do. And yes, those responsible should have to face up to the company where the dog lived.
This tells me that despite all the "happy, happy, joy, joy, Lets go USA" stuff we are hearing, most people are the same. Dishonest, disrespectful, and just plain mean.
At any rate, I wish the department and their mascot well. I'm circulating a card to show some support. Stay safe all.
Bless all of our Fallen Brothers and Sisters. You will not be forgotten
I have 2 Dals of my own, both rescued from abusive/neglected situations. Lance, my male was found tied to abandoned truck in an abandoned trailer park, emaciated and eaten up with heart worms. Cinder, the female was rescued from a home where she was kept in a crate all day except to go to the bathroom (once a day) and then she was beaten with her own leash. I know how I would feel if someone ever messed with one of my dogs and so far as I'm concerned, I'm in agreeance with everyone else... let the co deal with them.
Adopt a Dal. They're as much a part of our heritage as horse-drawn engines.
