I am not a firefighter but have always held them in the highest. Never more so than since the 911 attacks. I strongly agree the firefighters should be allowed to stay. If it takes longer, so be it. If it takes extra money, you can't tell me somehow it couldn't be funded and the guys should DEFINITELY be covered under WC. How can they even think it's proper to begin a massive bulldozing effort. Rudy says it's getting too dangerous, well here's a solution. Put as many construction guys as it takes with the firefighters and between the two they should be able to be safe no matter how slow they have to go. This is sacred ground and I can only pray the need for greed (it's prime property) will be overcome by the voices of all who believe you have every right to be there. You guys have earned at least that much.
Love from KY, still praying each day for what you have and will endure in the weeks, months to come. Stay safe and stay low.
You will not be forgotten by many of us!!
