To my brothers and sisters on the forums...read the last post on Page 15 of the thread God, please with our fallen Brothers and Sisters in New York City...

To the webteam...I think you did this individual a favor by blocking his email address. In a time of tragedy and mourning for the Brothers and Sisters of the FDNY, FDNY EMS, NYPD, NY/NJ Port Authority, the private EMS personnel who rushed to the scene and the countless victims of this heinous act, this (expletive deleted) has the audacity to question the procedures of the FDNY and in fact places some of the blame for the death of the evacuees of the WTC on the bravest who went in to do their duty...protect life and to put the fire out.

Why this doesn't happen in LA, Chicago, Dallas or any other big city? Who knows if these cities were not targeted for a terrorist attack, and that the complete shutdown of the air traffic over the United States prevented this? I am sure that if this had happened there, the brave men and women of the emergency services of those communities would have done the same thing.

Ten 8/Ten 17...How dare you critize the actions of the emergency response to the WTC disaster? It is obvious that you are not a firefighter. You were not at ground zero, are not part of the rescue effort. Members of my Department have heard from friends on the FDNY who were at ground zero. The horrors of what went on there are unimaginable. A member of my Department is there at ground zero right now with the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT -1) from Massachusetts. DMAT -2 has also been sent to NYC. Firefighters from my area are there in NYC with the USAR team from Massachusetts.

Why don't you keep your snide little Wednesday morning quarterbacking comments to yourself...they are not welcome here!!!

        Gonzo.....

What planet is that guy from? I am outraged. It is similar to that man and woman who were on CNN yesterday alledgedly representing the IAFF. To me they were marketing their business. Read my post where I question the CNN story. "CNN Report using IAFF(????) EXPERTS"
No fire is perfect and that is a fact. But they were doing their job and lost their lives for it! I cry each time i see the images.... On this one we agree for sure!

He is a @#$%@#$^%@#%!!!!!! The only thing I agree with him on is this...I hope we have less firefighter fatalities next year too!

God Bless our fallen brothers and sisters!

I agree that this is an inappropriate time to start questioning SOP's. These men and women were doing what any true firefighter would have done...their job. As firefighters, we are expected to help those out of situations that usually cause shock and terror that stupifies them. Our brave brothers and sisters went into a situation that we know was not a good one.

Let our thought not be on blame right now, let our focus and attention be on the resque efforts and our prayers be with our fallen brothers and sisters and their families and friends.

"While I feel heartsick with everyone else, the real tragedy here is the FDNY training program. How many times will this happen to this city before they use standard SOP's like all other U.S. Depts. Those 300 firefighters could really have been helpful now, instead of rushing in and blocking up the only means of egress all those innocent people had. Doesn't anyone in N.Y. ever wonder why this never happens in Chicago, Dallas, or L.A.? Guess not. I hope they kill a lot fewer firefighters next year."

Are you smoking crack? What "standard SOP's" would those be? Stand outside the building and just hope the civilians make it out on their own? If you really are a firefighter, I'd hate to be a citizen in your response area...I'd move away to another city!

You are most definitely a Mutt! FTM!

All I can say is that this guy makes me sick, he is not a true firefighter. We all know that this is a brotherhood and that we feel each others pains. This guy has real problems.
If you cant take the heat then stay out of my way.

                        ten 8/ten 17

As 28 year veteran of the fire department and 16 month combat vet from Viet Nam, I find your post quite disturbing and I'm being nice right now.

How the [email protected] did you ever get on this job!!! Apparently the oath you took doesn't mean a damn thing to you when the [email protected] hits the fan!!! Your sorry [email protected] definately isn't one of us!!!

I hope that other members of your department see your post and put you in your place(I won't say where that place is on this forum, but you can probably guess).

You are one of poorest examples of a firefighter I have ever had the displeasure of seeing on these forums. What ever you do, don't return you cowardly [email protected] bag.

You owe the public safety personel in NYC one [email protected] of an apology. I know they're big enough to accept it. Are you man enough to give it?
