special forces for firefighters

A friend of mine was speaking with some guys in the military the other day.
Apparently (I can't confirm), our special forces guys are backing the firefighters.

After they have made a successful attack on an area in Afghanistan, they are tacking up pictures of the 3 firefighters raising the flag over the world trade center rubble. Each picture has a message written on it that says something to the effect of 'This is for the firefighters, we don't forget' or something like that.

If anyone has heard about this a little more let me know.

Yes, the Rangers did this on their 100-man raid last week. From the picture on either CNN or MSNBC (forget which!) they had photocopies of the picture of the three firefighters & the flag.

Special forces has been collecting company and department patches from all FDNY companies for over a month.

And I like the idea of company patches as calling cards!!

I've also seen pictures of US Navy aircraft with special messages painted on the ordinance.

Well, I gotta disagree.
You see we are targeted already...
Every person who gets a white powder-filled letter calls who? US.
Every person who finds a bomb or has one explode calls who? US.
You see... we as firefighters have to respond to these types of calls. I for one have had a friend of mine in the Air Force put my name on a bomb!


So if they want to leave calling cards... more power to them... as for the terrorists retaliating... I happen to think most of them are DEAD if a calling card is left somewhere. But opinions are like @$$holes... everyone has one

The people getting these calling cards have a lot more to worry about than we as firefighters do!Have you ever seen Rangers or SEALS train?THEY LEAVE NO SURVIVORS ON THESE MISSIONS!The calling card has always been there.Whether it is an ear of a capture they return or a name on a bomb(face it if it is a bomb there will be nothing left of it)It is gruesome work,and our boys can leave these all they like!Let them remember over there or anywhere.Screw with the best die like the rest!Ok here is a blast from the past.We had painted on some of our equipment in Desert Storm "Sodomize Hussien"with a missle heading towards a cartoon of Sadaam bending over.Well we were told that might make them mad Like we werent already ****ing them off! Anyhow send them those patches FDNY and give our Navy flight crews some good bomb messages.And remember,God Bless America!!
