Deepest Condolences From the Fire Department of the State of Israel
The firefighters of the State of Israel would like to express their deepest condolences to their brothers-in-arms, the brave Firemen of the City of New York. We grieve with you over the loss of your friends and fellow rescuers, who have given up their lives in an effort to save others from the horror you're now witness to. No words are sufficient to describe the depth of the pain and the loss. May they rest in peace.
The Firefighting Brigade of Israel stands with bowed heads before this horrible tragedy. We know that despite the losses, the rescue forces of the United States are continuing to fullfill their duties at the disaster site, continually risking their lives for the sake of others.
Please know that we are ready to extend every bit of help in this, your most difficult hour. We are ready to arrive at a moment's notice and take our place by your side in the rescue effort.
May God grant that you'll never again witness such horror and grief.
Yours in mourning and pain,
The Firefighters of Israel
