Anyone hear this truly compelling song written from the point of view of a WTC employee who (and I hope I quote this correctly) "saw them pounding up as we went running down". It was sung on "A Prairie Home Companion" last Saturday, and it was the first time since 9/11 that I've been able to cry. It also addresses the serious issue, especially for FDNY and police, of survivor guilt.

Thanks for the thread. It is a very touching song. Crying is not a problem I have since that day. I can no longer hear the national anthem w/o tears coming to my eyes w thoughts of our fallen or missing FDNY brothers.Stephen J Bourassa

Does anyone know if they have that song on cassette or cd? I would like to get it if they do. It is just a great song that pretty much sums up the courage of FDNY. It really moves ya. If anyone knows about the cassette or cd drop me an email. [email protected]
