I emailed him and got a reply back and I just want you to know that you have a fine grandson... He was very courteous and I will be keeping in touch with him as well as having a classroom of students all email their well wishes and thank yous to the men aboard the CARL VINSON... I respect him very much and appreciate all that he as well as his comrades have done for our nation in attempting to stop terrorism...

Adam, Thanks. That is really GREAT! Gabe married a gal last July that he met and worked with for 5 years aboard the Vinson[she outranked him at the time they met] just before he left for the Persian Gulf. GP of course traveled to New Mexico for the Wedding.Jen's time was up in July but Gabe still had until next August? for his 6 years to be up. Grandpop can't wait for him to come so that I can help him with his dream to go to Law School. I advised him after 30 years in the court room to do something else but could not convince him. I know he will be a GOOD one and actually help some poor souls along the way while he is making his mark. Thanks again, it's lonely out there just as it was in Korea for me. The kids' email will really be appreciated.
