You can help FDNY E-4 - things they need

Brothers and Sisters,

My brother is a FDNY firefighter at Engine 4 in Manhattan. Engine 4 is second in at WTC.
He was on a trade, everyone on duty, two shifts from his firehouse, were killed.

In the ongoing recovery there are some things they really need that you can help provide. As of 9-14 They have asked for twenty helmets, twenty pairs of ff boots sizes 10-13, and twenty five padlocks all with the same key. Other needs include socks, tee shirts and underware, Saline solution and h2o, also blankets. The firehouse is without power so they can't cook or do laundry. We all wish we could go and help but right now this is what they need the most. I don't have a mailing address yet but I'm sure if you can get it to FDNY they can get it to Engine 4. Engine 4 Ladder 15 lost 22 members this week. Lets try and support them. I will try to give more info in future posts.

Try calling Black Diamond and hit them up for boots. Chieftain Safety products also should be contacted... Hit them up...worst they can say is no..but for a humanitarian aspect....i dont imagine they will

Thanks for your response, just to let you know, between fdny's quartermaster and several vendors and companies the specific needs I mentioned above have been met.
