In Hopes of Lifting FDNY's spirits

I had an idea to try and lift the spirits of FDNY a little. How about having all of your schools out there have their students draw pictures of firefighters or write a brief essay about what firefighters mean to them? It could be done through fire prevention week. Then you could mail the letters to houses that lost members. It won't bring back the fallen but it might help them focus on something else for a moment. From what my cousin tells me, they have plenty of supplies right now. Just an idea. Tell me what you think.

My daughters school sent us letters this week. A lot of them saying how tough it must be and thanking us to have the courage when they dont.
I like the idea of us sending them.I think my family will too.
The best cartoon editorial wise I have seen was two boys with trading cards and one says to the other"I will give you 3 Jordans for one of the FDNY Firefighters"
