When we went to the funerals for Harry Ford, John Downing and Brian Fahey and were shown unbelievable hospitality by our FDNY brothers.

Some of the fellas we stood shoulder to shoulder with, are now with the Supreme Architect of the Universe.

Alone, it is not possible to bear the grief of losing a brother in battle. This is part of the reason firefighters spread-load the pain and grief among our ranks.

Undoubtably, we are all sharing in the sorry. The tradgedy of Box 55-8087 broke our bones. But, it didn't even bend our spirit. We will rise from the ashes as the phoenix.
