i was recently talking with a friend of mine who's on a volunteer/full time dept. and he seemed like he was mad at the fire chief and i asked him what's up?
he said after a fire they we're leaving a house fire scence(remember this is in town so the drive ways are fairly narrow) and the driver of the fire truck didn't mean to but bearly drove on the house owner's lawn( they measure it 2 inch !!
) anyhow later on he got fired cause there's a rule i guess saying you can't drive on the lawn. but what's bad the owner's of the house and all the other firefighters told the chief to chill out and you know with that truck being that big it's hard enough to get it in and out of driveways. but he still fired him. I couldn't believe he got fired over driving 2 inches on somebody's lawn. if i was full time there i would have handed in my 2 week resigning letter and gone somewhere else if the chief that big of a rear end( i was thinking of another word)
