  • Voice Emitter Amp Bracket Fit

I have a Scott AV 3000 and the square style amp and a bracket. My question is: does the bracket fit entirely over the rubber ring of the voice emitter? The used bracket I have doesn't quite go over the emitter leaving a slight gap. It's lined up properly with the screw but it won't entirely cover the rubber. Any thoughts? The amp would be a bit louder if the bracket fit over the rubber ring, I think.

Yes, the bracket should seat all the way down over the outer ring, until it is almost flush with the clear part of the face piece.
They can be hard to put on, especially with an older/used mask. If you haven't already tried it.. might want to tried some water to lubricate it... and/or carefully expanding the bracket. If the voice emitter ring is a little deformed (it looks like it might be), and you can't replace it, you may have to use a hose clamp or something to try gently compress it back into shape.
