Each of our trucks are white, but the rescue, which is fairly new, and the tower ladder that was recently refurbished have a red stripe on the side. In the future, we plan to add the stripe to our two engines.
All the other departments in the city have red trucks.

LOL...here we go again...
White over red or black over red is my preference.

My personal favorite is good 'ol red.
I will, however, settle for red over red.
Or, maybe a red box with a red cab.
How about red over red over red?

Surely everyone knows by now that red trucks go faster!
All our appliances are red, however a neighbouring brigade (about 30km away for you Aussies) has a white HAZMAT...i personally think our red one is better...
(and yes, it DOES go faster..)

would've thought of that?

RED = FIRE APPARATUS
YELLOW = SCHOOL BUS
GREEN = ECTO COOLER A FAMOUS KID'S DRINK
WHITE = SANITATION TRUCK WHERE I'M FROM
BLACK = CAR YOU GET YOUR LAST RIDE IN. A HEARSE
FIRE TRUCKS SHOULD BE RED ALWAYS!!

Youngstown's are all red, except the older ones that are either going to be replaced soon or were not refurbed lately have white cabs. I like both, as I grew up with the white-cabbed trucks, but the solid red ones are sharp.
And firefightermatt_69, have you made a single post on these boards without putting 3 angry faces afterwards? I have seen you do it at least 3 times and your whining is bugging me. If you don't like the topics that people post, post your own! At least you'll like them, even if people don't reply. I know this topic has been posted about 200 times, but everytime it's up, people respond, so apparently its not that bad...Comment
