We have just came across a new problem at work. For years we have carried pressurized water extinguishers instead of pump cans because of reach and ease of carry.
We filled them from the rig's air system on the scene or back at the station, and have them maintained annually by an extinguisher co. The problem we now face is that the new extinguisher doesn't have an air chuck on it. It is pressurized like a dry chem. (remove the hose and attach the supply to the opening)
We haven't looked around to see if every manufacturer has changed (ours are from Badger) or if an adapter is available.
Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem, and what did you do about it.
