  • What was your fav' class @ the Baltimore Expo?

Which class did you feel you got the most out of?

    Fav speaker?

    Topic?

Was there an idea / class that you would've wanted to attend? Maybe an idea for a class next year?

(those 8:30 classes were mighty rough, weren't they!?!?!)

May God bless all the people and families who have lost
their lives on 9-11-01, to those also lost on Flight 587, and to the rescuers who responded to both.

I would have to say that of those I attended, the presentation on the Astoria fire done by FDNY Safety Chief Turi was the best.

My hats off to him and his people for putting such an informative presentation together in such short order.

For those who missed it, you missed one of the most informative reports regarding not just the LODD but how fast the fire environement could change and how quickly it can kill.

I would guess it was probably very difficult to talk about but again, he did a great job of presenting the facts.

I'm confident that it will put a bunch of rumors to bed. Nothing like the truth!

My hats off to FDNY and their efforts!

I really got alot of info from "Training a Rapid Intervention Crew" from Jersey City,NJ Batt. Chief Robert Cobb. I think he could have used a little/alot more time to go through everything but I got alot from the class. I also attended "The Ten commandments of structual fire fighting" and that class was just as informative. Didn't have a chance to see the Astoria fire. Just not enough time in one day to get it all.
