We have a stipend paid once a year if you maintain minimum attendance requirements, and a bonus plan if more than minimum. There is a pension plan which is currently paid after twenty years of service. We are reviewing possibly going to a progressive pension, (percent vested/years served). Also the town elders passed an ordinance last year that will pay from $250 to $1000 toward property tax (depending on certs and length of service)for volunteer FF and EMT.
