Unified command....new to PA.?

Just read the article about Pennsylvania using a unified command structure at highway incidents. This is a good thing. Where I am we've been using IMS for years. How many dept's out there use IMS on scenes (or don't)[ 07-05-2001: Message edited by: ntvilleff ]

The vast majority of depts in PA have been using IMS/ Unified Command for years.

In light of several accidents on major state highways involving injuries and fatalities to Emergency Services Personnel, the Legislation acted on this issue in an attempt to reduce/ eliminate these accidents.
