Whats the deal with the Fire Chief in DC. Now they can't wear leather boots or leather helmets. Whats next go back to Nomex gear.

i haven`t heard anything about that yet. is there a reason why. if it is true i personnally think it is a stupid rule. some people prefer leather,as long as all your PPE meets NFPA specs, i don`t see where it`s a problem.
