Always check your boots before you put them on!

Always know where your buddy is.

Always wave at kids when you're riding the big red truck.

Always teach newbies as best you can...they may have to pull your a** out someday.
I can think of no more stirring symbol of man's humanity to man than a fire engine.

Always think before you talk as firefighters have a long memory and will bust your chops over a misstatement for years....

Always stay conscious at a brush fire or you'll never live it down.

Always remember that no matter how good a firefighter you are, there's someone who's better and more experienced.

Always check your equipment, or you'll be walking in to a burning building with 400 psi in your air bottle.

              Always remember - common sense - isn't.

Always check your boots, or you'll end up with wet feet....

Always look for new courses to take. Learning should never stop.

Always remember, we are all brothers, no matter where we are.
My views are, of course, mine alone, and do not necessarily represent the opinion of my station
