Try any local fire equipment supply company. That or look up manufacturers online like the Kidde Company.

try contacting a local fire extinguisher company. i know our local companies seem to be changing out cans for dry chems, and those guys always seem to have a truck load somewhere.
I had good luck checking out our local government surplus website. All the county departments list the items that they're getting rid of: copiers, tables, etc. The school division was changing to new extinguishers and offered a pallet of old cans, all in good shape and still within hydro date. Our state has a similar website; maybe you will have similar luck. I got 10 for free.
The pw a forgotten tool. It seems so many people forget about how usefull of a tool this is. The above responses are on que a local fire equipment supplier should have them.
THE BEST PW AMREX BRAND Modle AX200 it holds
2.5 gal.of water great tool Rated at 2A and no BC.. and add air to 125 psi.
BUT
Take that same tool good by most standers and add 1 pint of F-500 to the water that same tool is rated at about 34A 320B but still no C rated This stuff (F-500) best thing for fire service since SCBA (air packs)
Amerex also makes A pw that has an 2AC rated
but I have never used that...
But if You must a broken stream will work any
questions please feel free to email me at [email protected]
Ok What is F-500 and I think highly that this snake oil does not do what you say it can. 34A rated on 2.5 gal of h2o????????
a 33 GALLON ar-afff wheeled foam extg is only rated about 30A. As far as the class B rating you claim 320B that is 320 square feet of heptane 2 inches deep and that is only 40% of what the expert rating is. A 150 POUND dry chem unit is about 340B rated.
As far as used Cans I can get them from time to time. I usually get rid of them for $15 a unit it empty and currently due hydrostatic testing, also the extgrs are OLD ususally late 60's 70's vintage. If the o-rings go bad the pressure may leak out and replacements do not exist (that is why I get them). Where is richland pa if it is on the east part of the state I can drop them off.
The extgers MUST BE TESTED BEFORE FILLING BUYER ACCEPTS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SAFETY OF THE EXTGR ITS TESTING AND ETC ETC
Richland is located almost directly halfway between Reading and Hershey, just off of Rt. 422, in Lebanon county. I will talk to the Chiefs, and find out what they decide to do.
F-500, ColdFire and FireBuster are all additives I have used in PW extinguishers. All do acceptable jobs. It is interesting how people have forgotten the Pressurized Water extinguisher, especially since either ISO or NFPA requires one to be on a first out engine.
I am sure your local fire extinguisher service company has some or can get you some. We deal with a couple places in Akron, Ohio (PraxAir and AutoTech) to get PWs for the Cleveland Grand Prix (PW, the weapon of choice for methanol fires). If you have no luck, you can contact either of them.
