I'm so sorry for your loss. While I'd previously not known about your dad, I can now say, "If he can do it, so can I" I would say that his story has affected me greatly, and I'll pass it on to the rest of my crew.

    Best wishes,
    Althea

I'm sorry that I never had the honor of meeting your father. I had a great man, without legs, as my Little League Baseball coach about forty years ago. We should always measure a person with their internal and not their external qualifications.

        Daughter:

Maybe you could have this site post another article or re-run one with a link to this thread; that should generate alot of traffic.

        Good luck

          Sorry for your loss.
I never met your Dad, however I did hear of him and of his graduation from the fire academy. Sounds like he did the job a well as anybody.

When your Mother finishes with the book please post a notice for us here so that all may know as I for one would like to read the whole story about your father as the article I read really touched me last fall.
