Lost past!

I was able to locate one of our old engines by writing DMV on our letterhead and providing the VIN. They found it for me in less than two weeks.

a few of us on my department are tring to locate the first truck we ever ran. I have some of the older history books from the company such as meeting minutes and the such but i was just wondering if anyone has tried this or is involved in this type of search.
