I have a friend who is writing a childrens book and needs a couple of questions answered. I was hoping someone could help me out.
1. How tall is an average ladder on an average fire truck (in feet)?
2. Also: do you know what the longest-size ladder (in feet) on a fire truck
could be?

Do you need information on a pumper or a ladder truck.

A ground ladder on a pumper can be anywhere from 24 to 35 feet.

On a ladder truck, the average is 100 to 110 feet, but there are some that are 135 feet and beyond!
