  • PGFD- Impact of Sarniki Leaving

Does anyone have any comments on the impact of the end of Ron S's Tensure. What will he do before he leaves? What will happen after?

One thing is for sure the fire department will be a little different when Chief Siarniki leaves, Everything that he had going or did in his tenure of office will be scrutinized and more then likely changed, all in all I wish the Chief the best of luck in the future. As for the future of the PGFD who is going to be next in office are we going to have to deal with the same thing that happened to Siarniki( not that he knew it was happening)? Will the one hand know what the other one is doing? Volunteers pull togeather because the line is going to get really thin here shortly Garaunteed. Thats just my opinion I could be wrong.

About my good friend Ron Siarnicki:

He is a politician in the best sense of the word. The Fallen FFs Memorial has scored a coup by hiring him away from PGFD. As for the future of 'Keepin it Safe' (who was the brain surgeon that dreamed up that slogan?), we can be guaranteed of only one thing:

There will be two separate camps marshalling their respective forces to try and influence the new chief. I guess A.D. Bell is not a candidate - how about Ronnie Few?

I was a probie when Ron was a recruit. My opinion, watch your backs because I don't think there's many choices out there as good as Ron. You're not gonna get away from the politician type (fact of life).

HEY! Brainstorm! make the deaf guy chief!

Hey, maybe Stan Poole will take that position and leave the Frederick County vollies alone!
