I'm glad i stumbled upon this site!

I got a question, i want to be a firefighter/paramedic in the future, i am a volunteer at a small town in Texas, But also i'm going to the military for experiences. I was thinking about being a medic but i would like to ask a site full of firefighters and tons of experience to ask what is the best place for the most experience in the military to be a firefighter/paramedic?

Second on Air Force.

As to where you'll work - that depends on where they decide to assign you. You can ask for a location, but there's no guarantee you'll go there.

Well really just medical stuff.

I might go and try the air force but i don't know if they will accept me i heard it is pretty tough to get in do to everyone wants in.

and OldTime i want to soooo baddd but I've dislocated a knee and don't know if they will accept me for that..

While you probably won't be a MEU Medic, you could always join the Navy, and sea the world.

If it's bad enough that the fire department will disqualify you, what makes you think that the military won't think it's a problem?

Apply at city fire departments that are full time paid jobs in the state of Texas??????

Get emt , paramedic better. Then get firefighter certified in Texas and apply
