    No.

If you had asked me as part of the original post,if this fire was in our district, that would have been one thing.

But when the first line of the post reads:
Video of a fire in the infamous Bossier Parish. There are six parts total
it's obvious that you are not asking a question but trying to stir the pot using an incident that you have no idea is ours or not.

Say whatever you will, but that little infamous sorta gave away your intentions.

Good night. It's time for bed.
Train to fight the fires you fight.

I didn't make it infamous. You did. Sometimes you have to live with the world you created.

      Have a good nights sleep.

      • La didn't respond. The news and red herring-esque sources claim he did. We all give him **** but I take him at his word. If he says he didn't respond, then he didn't respond. We dont agree a majority of the time but he is anything but a liar. Even if a video surfaced of his department at a working structure fire, it's all to easy to sit back and critique. Everyone knows what should have been done but still fail to do it in real time when it hits the fan. No one deserves have their department degraded especially when there are countless unforeseen variables in place. If bpfd were call, it wouldn't have changed the outcome. This thread WAS started for nefarious means. My only input while assuming lafire responded was to strengthen my argument for better basic level skill training. When I was informed it wasn't his fire, I left the entire video out of the argument, as did most of the other participants.

Only comment is that the results would have been the same whether the Fire Department showed up or not.

Never let the truth interfere with a good lynching.

If anyone owes anyone an apology it is YOU owing LA an apology for trying to make him and his FD look bad and using erroneous information to do it.
Crazy, but that's how it goes

            • In retrospect, the word infamous was a poor choice.

Outside of that one word, I'm struggling to see where I said anything negative about his department.

Beer and soft drinks are never my choice. I'll take water.

Ok. In a post about your observation skills, I post a picture of Helen Keller. See how I demeaned you without saying anything, it's pretty much what you did.

Thinking it was his fire, forgivable, most of us did.

Not seeing how it was posted to degrade a department due to one individual, makes you a Helen Keller.

                  • I understand what you are saying.

Implicit in your message is that I think the fire was handled poorly. I never said anything about the operation. The building was a loss from the start and that was not going to change even if the greatest fire department in the world responded.

I now respect you even more. My thyroid's screwed up though, I have to leave that stuff alone anyway.
