When there is a fire under it, it will go off. Other than that, I have no idea what you are asking.

Sometime used sprinkler pop, water sprayed. Pop out spray water but gravitational pull water down. Fire make cooler go out steaming wet mess to clean up.
        Hoping helped you.

          Snowball forgot.....

Once sprinkler popped up, only this one water sprayed. Not all sprayed same time like shown movies.

And seriously - if you are asking how the ceiling mounted drop down sprinklers work - when the temperature reaches a certain point (the one on my desk is rated at 135 degrees), the disk or cover will pop allowing the sprinkler head to drop down and do its' job....

Anil - yes - it would be good to know what country you are in - normally, sprinkler installation is done in the US by qualified/trained people/companiess. There is much more to take into consideration than just the installation istself of the sprinklers...the actual hardware installation isn't that hard.....
