It is tragic in Japan, and this is not to make light of that.
I am just surprised we have not seen half a dozen posts this time, from people who are on a department somewhere, no training in this kind of response, wondering how to get over there to save the day. Or wondering what USAR team they should join up with real quick so they can save the day.
Of course, with the reactor problems, maybe they are finally (rightfully) scared.
