FH even stated they have no clue what was in the ads. It's not an opinion that the site owners/moderators don't have a list of ad's to choose from, its a fact. If I were a business owner NO ONE would post any ads on my site until I approved them. You dont like that either. Too bad. I believe it is an incredibly naive and POOR business practice.

No, the website doesn't get to see what is ran. Google scans content of the website and adjust its ad's accordingly, if you were on a car forum you would see ads from the highest bidder (such as k&n, and no self respecting legitimately fast vehicle would touch k&n). It's done on such a widespread scale (facebook, myspace, pretty much everything) that it would be stupid to assume FH gets a list of all ads forthcoming for their approval.

If you were on a porn site, you'd see porn ads. If you were on a car forum, you'd see car ads.

You were on a firefighting forum, you saw an ad dealing with firefighters, its that simple. Take off your foil cap.
