    70 years...the Strand Fire, Brockton MA

    70 years ago today, 13 Firefighters of Brockton FD's "Squad A" made the "Ultimate Sacrifice" at the infamous Strand Theater, March 10, 1941.
    May their loss never be forgotten and may they Rest In Peace.

          We are all a little safer in our jobs , thanks to the sacrifices those that fell before us have made. Rest in Peace all.
