Ah, maybe you could give a little more info. There are tons of different TO manufacturers and a skinny million material combinations that could lead to inaccurate comparisons. not to mention the frequency of use. What's "wearing out"?

I am not looking for a comparison, the gear is 4 months old. It is showing wear in the crotch area and where the clips are on the coat behind the closure.

Geez. Talk about wanting something and offering nothing.

Turnouts should not wear out in 4 months. With heavy use and cheap gear however, you might see it.

Not knowing any particulars there is no way to address your question.

Does the gear fit properly? Was it measured to the wearer?
Or is the crotch down by your knees?

Have the members STOP rubbing the crotch area. Should have had a larger rise in the crotch to begin with so nothing gets in a "bind"!!
