Can anyone tell me what the end of the duck bill tool handle is used for? It has a recessed slot at the end of the handle.

The end is designed to be used as a Gas Shutoff tool. It is a way most manufacturers can state there tool has more than 1 use. I cannot see it ever being used for this purpose but that is the design intent in my expierience.Comment
