Can anyone tell me what the end of the duck bill tool handle is used for? It has a recessed slot at the end of the handle.

Sorry, but you're way short on info...... First, and this is kinda meaningful - What is a Duck Bill Tool?? That's not a name of a tool that we use......... We'll be happy to help if we have more to go on........

The end is designed to be used as a Gas Shutoff tool. It is a way most manufacturers can state there tool has more than 1 use. I cannot see it ever being used for this purpose but that is the design intent in my expierience.
