My Volly FD uses Bristol Turn-outs in Nomex Delta T blend.

When I was a civilian FF for the WiANG we had Nomex duty pants and Cotton FR uniform shirts. I absolutley HATED, wait, no, really despised, the Nomex duty pants, they were hot and an absolute pain in the *** to wash. maybe have made some improvements in them since I left there 12 years ago but those were awful.

We are currently using Advance and most depts around us are too. I just didn't know if with the budget cuts it had any impact on your gear replacement and you decided to go with nomex.

Been using Topps Nomex for the last six yrs. Stuff holds up well, fits well and even with the dark navy shirts it is very cool in direct sunlight.
