    Similar "close calls" within 10 days. I'm not going to re-post the articles, you can click on the links to read.

    Talk about your average "bread and butter" calls gone bad. I'm not posting this to find fault or point fingers. Hope the brothers are OK. It will be interesting to read the reports and hear their versions of the interior conditions during the incident.

    In both cases it sounds like the unanticipated happened. We're used to venting or opening a door and having it flash. Opening up a wall? Pulling a ceiling? Maybe not so much.

    Hope everyone comes out of it OK.

    Proof once (twice) again that there is no such thing as a "routine" fire.
