  • Uniforms-Drk.Blue or Lt. Blue? Basket Weave or Plain?

Out here in CA, in my dept we wear nomex, dark blue for all ranks up to the chiefs, we can wear either plain or basket weave belts with no dept buckle (I prefer plain-cops wear basket weave). What is your dept wearing? Do you have a dept belt buckle?

Most of us use the last chance belt. Not that anyone plans to use it for a bail out. They look good and fit nice.

We wear the navy blue uniform pants/shorts, light blue uniform shirts, usually a t-shirt or a job shirt does it though...the "last Chance" belt, and mad crazy shiny shoes, (low tops w/ pants, medium top w/ shorts)

We wear dark navy uniform pants and shirts, light grey undershirts and plain leather belts for class A uniforms. Our class B's are dark navy cotton pants, "last chance" belt, grey duty shirt and solid leather slip on station boots.

            Hi:

Dark blue FR pants, dark blue FR shirts for FFs, light blue for officers. Plain belt. Job shirts are a priveleged item...only if in good repair, not faded, etc.

A last chance belt has the D ring on the belt buckle. It is used for quick escapes in a rapelling manner. The belt is made out of a load bearing type nylon and worn as a regular belt. Hope this helps!!
