    Short answer is that they are dangerous enough to worry about. (They should be treated like any other electrical installation.) Haven't had to deal with it yet personally but they look like a giant pain in the butt as far as FD operations go.

    Moderator, please relocate this if preferable. I am way out of date here. Old school. What is the present maximum working voltage of large commercial and residential rooftop photovoltaic panel arrays? Can it be as high as 400-600 VDC? And at what possible or practical amperage? Does this in fact constitute a distinct fire fighter roof top operations shock hazard potential? Just dead...or dead dead? Thanks in advance. HB of CJ. (old coot) (too old)
