Does anyone know if there NFPA standards on length of service for helments and turnouts? I tired 1971 but did not find anything

NFPA 1851 is the care and maintenance manual for PPE thats where you will find it.Comment

We just checked this and found (5) years on helmets. As far as Turnout Jackets/Pants goes, my understanding is (10) years."Be LOUD, Be PROUD..... It just might save your can someday when goin' through an intersection!!!!!"
